About Us
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT?
Mr. Shrader is the founder of AP STEM Academy and a 20-year veteran classroom teacher of AP Physics 1, AP Physics: Mechanics, and AP Physics: Electricity & Magnetism, and AP Research. He holds a National Board Teaching Certification and has guided countless students to success not only in AP scores, but in future college and career goals as well. He spends time working out specific "educational game-plans" with students to counsel them throughout their high school careers.
In addition to teaching advanced physics, he coaches students through individual research projects that are typically used to compete in regional science fair competitions to earn a spot to attend ISEF (the international science and engineering fair). His students have earned prestigious scholarships to some of the most renowned schools in in the country; including but not limited to MIT, University of Pennsylvania, Cornell, Columbia, West Point Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Tufts University, Northeastern University, RIT, Carnegie- Mellon, & many more.. His entire career has always been and always will be dedicated to helping students achieve their future goals and dreams.
